In passive voice, there are cases where you need to report the situation from other people's points of view or knowledge. In these cases, you'll need to use passive reporting phrases, such as "It is said that..." They are also called impersonal passive and should be pretty easy for many intermediate students to use. Instead of using impersonal passive, you can also use personal passive by utilising the agent in what has been reported. This worksheet comprises sentences in different tenses using the personal passive structures in passive reporting.
