Present Simple and Present Continuous esl reading text

Here’s a reading text to help you contrast present simple tense and present continuous tense accompanied with a set of true/false questions in the context of a baker's last day before his retirement.

What’s the reading passage about?

The reading passage is about a baker who is about to retire, and the text describes the last day in his work life. The text heavily uses present simple and present continuous tenses in contrast, so it’ll be an excellent opportunity to compare the two tenses in use. In the last paragraph, there are also future uses of present simple and present continuous.
