Here's an excellent PowerPoint game for ESL classes to consolidate modals of ability in present and past. It's best for a consolidation lesson after can and could are introduced to talk about abilities.
The sentences are given in the jumbled order, and students have to produce sentences which express abilities in present and past for first person singular subjects. A present ability slide is followed by a past ability slide, which will be an opportunity to compare present and past ability forms.
There's also a very similar print-out version of this PowerPoint, which is found here.
